A big THANK YOU to you all for assisting us in so many different ways and making our work in Kimilili a success. It touched our hearts to realize how many people are willing to get involved in supporting a good cause.
During our stay in January 2011 we were able to ensure the continued existance of the school by meeting the basic requirements of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health, e.g. by providing proper school facilities and learning materials.
Many things happened since our first trip to Kimilili and during our second stay in January 2012 we were finally able to start the big project of building a permanent school building and the lunch program for our students.
